My final wedding of 2023 was Jude and Graham’s at the Tithe Barn Bolton Abbey. This is a beautiful Yorkshire wedding venue with rustic charm and all the twinkly lights, making it a perfect venue for a winter wedding.
I started with bridal prep for Jude and her 3 bridesmaids at one of the nearby luxury cabins at Olicana Park. The cabin had stunning views looking towards the river Wharfe and the most amazing light.
The Tithe Barn is a 16th Century Yorkshire wedding Venue on the Duke Of Devonshire’s Bolton Abbey Estate in North Yorkshire, with stunning views over Bolton Abbey Priory ruins.
I arrived at the barn as groom Graham was greeting their guests ahead of the ceremony. After the ceremony, the bride and groom nipped away together for a few minutes whilst the guests were lined up for a confetti exit. The weather was absolutely stunning but very cold! After the group shots I took the newlyweds outside once more for some couple portraits. As a wedding photographer, I get a bit giddy when we have beautiful light to play with when the sun is low in the sky at golden hour and we managed to take advantage of it before the sun set for the day.
As the light outdoors fell, the indoor space became an even more inviting space with the twinkly lights and the candles creating a warm glow in the barn. We had speeches from Jude’s dad, Graham and best man Sam.
The first dance was a high energy dance to The Supremes’ “You can’t Hurry Love’ and was such fun to capture as they both looked like they were having a blast.
Thank you so much Jude and Graham for letting me capture your Tithe Barn Bolton Abbey wedding. I wish you a lifetime of happiness and love together.
