Way back in 2017 I photographed Jayne and Drew’s wedding, I love catching up with my couples especially when they have entered a new chapter in their lives. It was really lovely to catch up with them and photograph their beautiful family. Jayne and Drew had recently welcomed their baby girl into their family and their eldest daughter was absolutely adorable.
I love photographing families and newborns in a relaxed way. Also know as lifestyle photography, newborn photography in your own home. As a mum, I know that it’s rare to be in the photographs as a photographer I have always been the person taking the photographs so don’t have many pictures of me with my babies and now they’re stroppy teenagers!
Lifestyle newborn photography is a gentle way to get family photographs with your newborn. Newborn babies completely lead the shoot driven by their need for cuddles and milk. Being in familiar surrounds means the smells and sounds are normal for them and help to create a relaxed atmosphere.
