Croquet, Champers and laughter at Carlton Towers wedding
6th May 2014
Jamie and Jenny had an absolutely exquisite wedding venue, Carlton Towers in Goole which is a real house albeit a gigantic one (I definitely wouldn’t like the heating bill). Jenny wren happens to be the happiest smiliest lady I have ever met. I could get all gushy here about how they are going to live happily every after, I do love a good fairytale. During the ceremony, Happy Together by the Turtles was played, completely fitting with the incredibly joyful day.
Carlton Towers wedding
Carlton Towers is a Grade I listed Victorian gothic country house in Carlton (between Selby and Snaith), North Yorkshire, England set in 250 acres. It makes a spectacular backdrop for a wedding. Jenny and Jamie’s civil ceremony took place in the decadent Venetian Drawing Room followed by a champagne reception in the grounds, a touch of croquet and of course some time with the bride and groom to capture the excitement of the day amongst the vast grounds and picturesque backdrops.
